About Little Town Playgroups
At Little Town Playgroups, we believe that big learning happens through little hands at play. We offer kid-led, sensory-rich classes for children ages 1–5, with a focus on caregiver participation, connection, and creativity. Each session is thoughtfully designed around engaging themes that spark curiosity and imagination—whether it’s a day at the farm, a trip to space, or under-the-sea adventures. Children are free to explore at their own pace while building important fine motor skills, social-emotional confidence, and a love for discovery. Our sensory activities use safe, non-toxic materials and are intentionally open-ended to support early learning in a playful, pressure-free environment. Grown-ups join in the fun too—making memories, connecting with their child, and finding community with others. Our Story
Hi there! We’re Molly and Robert, proud parents to our little explorer, Shea. Our family has deep roots right here in Shelton, and it’s this community that inspired us to create something special — a place where little ones can learn, explore, and grow through sensory play.
Family is our “why.” Watching Shea discover the world reminded us how powerful play can be — not just for development, but for connection. We wanted to bring that same joy and opportunity to other families in our community.
That’s why we created a warm, welcoming space where children can play safely, freely, and with purpose — and where parents can feel right at home too.
